Hours: Year-round part-time averaging 30 hours per week

Salary: $40 per hour, benefits eligible

About the role

Under supervision of the Revenue Applications Manager, acts as overall project coordinator for the Recreation Management system replacement, including coordinating the full RFP process, vendor selection, business process review and software implementation. Coordinates overall project team including developing and managing all internal schedules, defining and assigning tasks, developing and ensuring FCPA meets deadlines/timelines relating to system implementation. Sets up and creates documentation for all RFP and implementation needs. Acts as project coordinator for implementation of new system, working closely with vendor, internal FCPA staff, and County staff on all aspects of implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project timelines, meetings, and deliverables
  • Organize and document implementation of Recreation Management system
  • Facilitate communication across business units and technical teams
  • Support testing activities
  • Help ensure a smooth cutover and post-implementation support transition
  • Perform a wide range of professional work in multiple administration functions within an organizational unit including analysis and project management
  • Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive communication and education plans on programs and services for county agencies and community organizations
  • Assist with developing and conducting special studies and research initiatives, including designing survey instruments, gathering data, developing analysis tools, conducting statistical analyses, and initiating literature reviews
  • Conduct analysis and reporting of quantitative and qualitative data to track and monitor business process indicators
  • Serve as the point-person and liaison within the department and with central county departments regarding designated program and functional areas of responsibility
  • Prepare reports and presentations of analysis and findings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting IT or business systems implementation projects
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Proficiency with project management tools

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of the mission, goals and objectives of the organizational unit, program or activities to which incumbent is assigned
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques relating to various functional areas of business operation (e.g., personnel, budgeting and financial management, contract administration and management)
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques governing management, organization, operations and programmatic services
  • Ability to identify and describe a range of possible solutions for solving business problems
  • Ability to apply research methods to design studies and assessments, and statistical analysis techniques to identify patterns and trends in data
  • Ability to use word processing and presentation software to prepare documents, and to use spreadsheet and statistical analysis software packages to store, manipulate, analyze and present data
  • Ability to train, lead, and/or supervise paraprofessional staff

Employment Standards

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in a field related to the assigned functional area; plus two years of professional work experience within the functional area.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary with walking and lifting less than 5 lbs.
