About the role

Alliance Technical Group is seeking an Implementation Engineer to join our team in Pensacola, FL. The primary responsibilities include configuring and implementing software and hardware-based applications at power utility and petro-chem installations.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and implement software and hardware-based applications at customer sites.
  • Participate in engineering tasks involving the integration of PC-based software and hardware for the commercial marketplace.
  • Assist with resolution of client/customer requests, problems, etc.
  • Interface with clients on particular phases of projects.
  • Perform software product development regarding regulatory requirements.
  • Travel overnight 20-35% of the time, depending on project mix.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Engineering, computer science, math, or STEM degree preferred.
  • General knowledge of Database applications (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office applications including word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and presentation software.
  • Effective cross-discipline communication (ability to work with a variety of staff, both internal and external, and across multiple functions).
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload as well as ask questions and seek guidance on work issues.
  • Ability to work with peers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven top performer in past jobs.
  • Proven team player that is humble, hungry, and people-smart.

Pay

Competitive salary based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time position with some overnight travel required.
