Implementation Electronic Interface Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Support Large Case Implementations, customers, and vendor resources in reviewing, tracking, and discussing FMLA/LOA History/Takeover, Disability & Paid Family History/Takeover, EOI, and Eligibility Data File support management.
  • Focus on data transfer processes managed internally by the client or by other vendor carriers, coordinating with internal IT business partners.
  • Support client on-boarding migration activities for groups ranging from 100 to 100,000+ eligible lives.
  • Track and support the management and audit process to ensure accuracy of migrated data.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert (SME) and liaison between internal and external IT teams to review data transfer portals and requirements.
  • Engage in pre-meetings with Large Case Implementation Managers to review submission documents and client information.
  • Participate in customer/vendor meetings to resolve concerns and open questions during file transfer testing.
  • Maintain current tracking of assigned clients and statuses for reporting to senior management.
  • Follow up with Implementation Managers, brokers, or clients on timely file submissions and manage expectations for delays.
  • Work closely with internal IT business partners and business units to ensure accuracy in file conversions.
  • Proactively advise implementation, account management, and operations teams of outstanding issues and develop action plans for resolution.
  • Coordinate resolution of questions and “kick outs” with implementation teams, account management, operations, and IT management.
  • Support, maintain, and audit final migration numbers for business and billing purposes.
  • Develop, maintain, and update SOPs for vendor migrations, including metrics and common concerns, using a problem-solving approach.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal and external business partner relationships.
  • Support any required actions requested by managers or team leaders.

    • Collaborate with key enrollment platforms managing Reliance’s enrollment and eligibility transfer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent years of experience).
  • 2+ years of Leave of Absence experience in claims management or data migration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify, consult, and create solutions for issues.
  • Strong project management skills; ability to work closely with project managers, IT teams, operations, and Leave of Absence resources.
  • Good time management and sensitivity to deadlines (file deadlines are critical).
  • Strong and proactive communication skills.
  • Understanding of FMLA, state leave laws, and other employer-authorized leave laws.
  • Ability to speak confidently and persuasively in front of clients and brokers.
  • Adaptability and ability to embrace change.
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships at all levels.
  • Professional business demeanor and ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work autonomously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products; ability to master applicable systems and processes.
  • Ability to manage process flows.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required.

Pay

The expected hiring range for this position is $63,540.00 - $79,440.00 annually for work performed in the primary location (Phoenix, AZ). This range covers base pay only and excludes other compensation components such as commissions or incentive awards. The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be based on several factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. Work location may be flexible if approved by the company.
