About the role

The Implementation Consultant delivers high-quality knowledge transfer services to clients, enabling them to use standard Tyler interfaces efficiently and effectively. This role ensures the transition to Tyler interfaces is completed on time and establishes a positive baseline for the client relationship. Residency in US western time zones is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional services such as consultation, interface readiness, and education to clients on Tyler interface products.
  • Design and conduct knowledge transfer sessions on-site or through webinars.
  • Educate users on interface functionality, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Recommend new approaches in client work processes to ensure efficient interface solutions.
  • Identify and document business/technical requirement specifications for interface design, forms, reports, and configurations.
  • Maintain administrative tasks, including documenting client issues, communicating agendas, submitting trip reports, timesheets, expense reports, and updating client activity records.
  • Assist QA staff with product or modification testing as required.
  • Notify management of issues or unplanned events that could impact implementation effectiveness, schedule, or budget.
  • Create client-facing and internal documentation, such as "quick tips" and "how-tos."
  • Act as a liaison between the client and technical staff, conveying technical information in an understandable manner.
  • Participate in the annual User Conference and facilitate user group discussions on assigned modules/topics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience, preferably in accounting, payroll, or ERP software implementation.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as an Associate Implementation Consultant or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of principles and concepts relevant to the discipline of knowledge transfer.
  • Exceptional presentation and knowledge transfer skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and Microsoft Office products (SQL, IIS, Excel).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel 25–50%.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must successfully complete an 8-week mandatory new hire training class (Sept 14, 2026 – Nov 6, 2026). Weeks 1 and 8 are in Yarmouth, ME (travel expenses covered); the remaining weeks are remote.

Pay

Average base pay is $66,000 per year. Eligible to participate in the Annual Tyler Bonus & ERP Implementation Consultant incentive plan, with potential earnings of $3,000–$7,000 per year based on performance and business results.
