About The Role
SS&C Innovest seeks a dynamic, detail-oriented Implementation & Client Success Manager to join its Specialty Assets Operations team. This position will own the client journey from onboarding through long-term partnership via three primary responsibilities: Project Manager for complex data and system conversions, Trusted Advisor for ongoing client relationship management, and Product Expert delivering high-impact demos and training. Responsibilities
- Implementation & Project Management (40%)
- Lead Complex Onboardings: Act as the primary project manager directing new client onboarding, system conversions, and data migrations.
- Data Conversion Strategy: Partner with internal technical teams to map, translate, and validate complex trust accounting and asset management data into our system.
- Project Governance: Define project scopes, timelines, and milestones, ensuring implementations are delivered accurately and on schedule.
- Client Success & Relationship Management (40%)
- Nurture Key Relationships: Drive regular monthly or quarterly check-in calls with existing clients to monitor system health, satisfaction, and retention.
- Strategic Communication: Act as the dedicated, non-technical point of contact for client escalations, broad product announcements, and operational updates.
- Bridge the Gap: Translate complex client business requirements into actionable insights for our development and product teams.
- Product Demos & Training (20%)
- Conduct Compelling Demos: Lead engaging, tailored product demonstrations for high-value prospects and existing clients looking to expand their usage.
- Empower Users: Design and deliver comprehensive training sessions for new users and continuous education on advanced system features.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in Software Implementation, Technical Project Management, or Client Success within the B2B SaaS space.
- Technical Aptitude: High comfort level learning proprietary, complex, legacy systems (e.g., understanding database relationships) with some query language proficiency.
- Communication Mastery: Exceptional presentation and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain highly complex software concepts in simple terms.
- Adept at analyzing and interpreting client needs & offering appropriate solutions.
- A love of learning and solving problems combined with a highly inquisitive and intuitive mindset.
Qualifications
- Experience working with legacy software architectures or database environments, particularly UniVerse or other multi-value databases and pick BASIC.
- Background working specifically in fintech, wealth management, trust banking, or specialized asset management.
- Strong foundational knowledge of trust accounting/management, or complex financial assets.
- Knowledge of oil & gas revenue processing and/or loan processing.

Pay
Actual base salary will vary based on relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. For Colorado, the expected base salary for the position is between $80,000 USD to $90,000 USD. In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company’s discretion.
