Immunology Sales Specialist (LA East) - Ophthalmology
Location: Los Angeles, CA (East LA territory)
About the Role
Join Keenova’s Immunology Sales Force Team, where we work to become a valued partner in serving patients with autoimmune and rare diseases. The successful candidate will demonstrate documented success as a top producer using superior clinical selling skills, while effectively managing their territory in compliance with all company policies and procedures. As a results-oriented salesperson, business partner, and consultant, you will develop strategically targeted accounts and specific business plans that reflect an in-depth understanding of local, regional, and national market forces impacting product sales. The role requires skillful navigation of product concepts, complexities, and adjunctive therapies, along with a deep understanding of clinical data.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed all established territory sales plan and expense plan goals and objectives by developing and implementing territory-specific strategies.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted opinion leaders and physicians.
- Maintain an updated working knowledge of Company products and relevant disease states.
- Develop a Territory Business Plan, plan workdays and weeks, establish call plans, and prepare for all sales calls to meet or exceed goals.
- Develop and implement special programs within the territory to maximize sales opportunities (e.g., speakers’ bureau programs, symposia).
- Develop and/or maintain permanent customer records.
- Complete assigned administrative tasks in a timely, accurate, legible, and organized manner.
- Communicate a current, effective, and accurate sales presentation to customers.
- Present a professional sales image in all business matters.
- Operate within assigned sales territory in compliance with applicable regulations, Pharma guidelines, and established corporate policies and procedures.
- Attend regional and national conferences throughout the year.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in Ophthalmology or an Associate’s Degree and 5+ years of experience or 7+ years of successful, proven pharmaceutical or industry-equivalent experience within Ophthalmology.
- Current experience within the territory and customer knowledge highly preferred.
- Experience selling biologics to specialty physicians in rare disease areas preferred.
- A valid motor vehicle operator's license.
- Local travel required; some overnight travel may be necessary depending on the region.
Pay
Expected base pay range for this position is $121K–$174K, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable program, awarded at the Company’s discretion.
