About the Role

Join Keenova’s Immunology Sales Force Team, where we work to become a valued partner in serving patients with autoimmune and rare diseases. The successful candidate will demonstrate documented success as a top producer using superior clinical selling skills, while effectively managing their territory in compliance with all company policies and procedures. As a results-oriented salesperson, business partner, and consultant, you will develop strategically targeted accounts and specific business plans that reflect an in-depth understanding of local, regional, and national market forces impacting product sales. The role requires skillfully dealing with the complexities associated with the products and adjunctive therapies, along with a deep understanding of clinical data.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed all established territory sales plan and expense plan goals and objectives by developing and implementing territory-specific strategies.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted opinion leaders and physicians.
  • Maintain an updated working knowledge of Company products and relevant disease states.
  • Develop a Territory Business Plan, plan workdays and weeks, establish call plans, and prepare for all sales calls to meet or exceed goals.
  • Develop and implement special programs within the territory to maximize sales opportunities (e.g., speakers’ bureau programs, symposia).
  • Develop and/or maintain permanent customer records.
  • Complete assigned administrative tasks in a timely, accurate, legible, and organized manner.
  • Communicate a current, effective, and accurate sales presentation to customers.
  • Present a professional sales image in all business matters.
  • Carry out duties in compliance with applicable regulations, Pharma guidelines, and company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Attend regional and national conferences throughout the year.

  • Clinical Acumen: Strong clinical and disease state knowledge enabling impactful clinical selling, decision-making, and a deep understanding of the market and customers.
  • Business Acumen: Understands industry trends, economic sectors, and market dynamics to drive strategy.
  • Communications and Teamwork: Communicates accurately, concisely, and compellingly to a variety of audiences; adapts communication style as needed; forges and maintains effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resource Utilization: Identifies available resources and solves problems using the best available information and support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in Ophthalmology required. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, will consider either an Associate’s Degree and 5+ years, or 7+ years of successful, proven pharmaceutical or industry-equivalent experience within Ophthalmology.
  • Current experience within the territory and customer knowledge highly preferred.
  • Experience selling biologics to specialty physicians in rare disease areas preferred.
  • A valid motor vehicle operator's license.

Schedule

Local travel with some overnight required; may vary depending on the region.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $111,000 - $159,000. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable program, awarded at the Company’s discretion.
