Responsibilities
- Appear in immigration courts (e.g., master calendar hearings, bond hearings, removal/EOIR proceedings) or accompany clients to USCIS interviews.
- Represent clients in non-detention or detained matters (as needed) and/or participate in immigration-related hearings.
- Maintain full control of your schedule: you pick your appearances, when and where (within the city/region).
- Prepare and review case documents, coordinate with the central team, update status post-appearance.
- Ensure timely reporting of hearing outcomes back to the central team.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active bar license in the State (e.g., California, Texas).
- Experience with immigration court proceedings or USCIS interviews.
- Able to manage your own schedule and communicate effectively with remote team/staff.
- Reliable travel within the metro area/courthouse visits.
- Excellent writing and advocacy skills.
- PREFERRED: 1+ year of immigration-law experience (court/agency).
- Bilingual skills (Spanish a plus).
- Familiarity with EOIR proceedings, USCIS interviews and immigration law updates.
Pay
$80k-120k USD DOE

About the Role
This is a Hybrid position requiring in-person court appearances.
