Immigration Attorney

Our client is a growing immigration law firm serving clients across the central United States, with a client base that spans family-based immigration, business immigration, and removal defense matters. The team is small enough that every attorney knows their clients by name, yet experienced enough to handle matters ranging from routine visa petitions to contested hearings before the Board of Immigration Appeals.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high-volume caseload independently while collaborating closely with a small team
• Manage immigration matters spanning visa petitions, adjustment of status filings, naturalization, and court appearances
• Explain complex legal processes in plain language to clients under stress
• Consult with colleagues on case strategy and mentor newer attorneys

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing (state to be confirmed with the hiring team)
• Minimum of two years of hands-on immigration law experience, ideally spanning both petition-based filings and litigation or hearing experience
• Working knowledge of USCIS procedures, EOIR practice, and BIA appeals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in a second language is a strong plus given the client population served
• Genuine interest in immigrant communities and a client-first approach to practicing law

Pay

$120,000 - $150,000 per year
