Immigration Associate (Writing-Intensive) – Pittsburgh, Detroit, Austin, Collin County, or Atlanta
About the Role
Clark Hill is seeking an Immigration Associate with 1+ years of experience to join its Pittsburgh, Detroit, Austin, Collin County, or Atlanta office. This is a full-time position with the ability to work remotely two days per week.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead on writing-intensive matters, including RFE responses, NIWs, O-1/EB-1 petitions, J-1 waiver applications, and similar filings
- Prepare and submit filings to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and other government agencies
- Communicate and collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and clients
- Complete and review forms, applications, and supporting documentation
- Gather facts and evidence to support client applications and other immigration matters
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in immigration law, with a demonstrated interest in the field
- Active bar membership in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction)
- Experience in a writing-intensive role, such as associate, law clerk, paralegal, or similar
Qualifications
- Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills
- High-level attention to detail and strong academic credentials
- Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoyment and proficiency in creative writing
Pay
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data.
