Clark Hill is seeking an Immigration Associate with 1+ years of experience to join its Pittsburgh, Detroit, Austin, Collin County, or Atlanta office. Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated interest in the field of immigration law and possess at least one year of experience at an immigration law firm as an associate, law clerk, paralegal, or similar role.

About the role

This is a full-time position with the ability to work remotely two days per week. Candidates must have an active bar membership in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction).

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on writing-intensive matters, including RFE responses, NIWs, O-1/EB-1 petitions, J-1 waiver applications, and similar filings
  • Prepare and submit filings to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and other government agencies
  • Communicate and collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and clients
  • Complete and review forms, applications, and supporting documentation
  • Gather facts and evidence to support client applications and other immigration matters

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience at an immigration law firm as an associate, law clerk, paralegal, or similar role
  • Active bar membership in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction)
  • Extensive experience with writing-intensive immigration cases
  • Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills
  • High-level attention to detail and strong academic credentials
  • Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoy and excel at creative writing

Pay

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data.
