About the role
The role involves providing legal representation to immigrants facing various legal challenges. This includes but is not limited to immigration law, family law, and civil rights issues.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on immigration laws and policies
- Prepare and file legal documents such as petitions and applications
- Represent clients in court hearings and administrative proceedings
- Provide legal guidance on family law matters
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law or related field
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction
- At least 3 years of experience in immigration law
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
