Immediate Openings! Volunteer as a Manufacturing Instructor and Inspire Youth
Description
The Instructors will assist in delivering hands-on machining instruction aligned with NIMS credentialing, help maintain training equipment and resources, and contribute to developing high-quality, inclusive technical training programs. Volunteers will receive mentorship from experienced instructors and gain valuable experience in workforce development and manufacturing education.
Qualifications
- Some experience with NIMS credentialing
- Strong interest in teaching, youth development, and manufacturing careers
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, proactive, and committed to fostering equitable access to manufacturing opportunities
- Some hands-on experience with blueprint reading and precision measurement tools, including drills, calipers, and micrometers
