Imaging Technologist - MRI - Per Diem

About the role

The global responsibility of this position and all positions within the department of Imaging Services is to provide quality diagnostic images, comfort, and care for patients and employees at KVH. As a part of this, all employees are responsible for seeking ways to provide input to continuously improve our operation and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review imaging requests for appropriateness
• Verify physician orders
• Perform procedures in a safe, caring and timely manner
• Consistently produce quality images for the radiologist to interpret and report to the requesting physician
• Maintain a high level of professional expertise and assume responsibility for professional growth and development

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Radiology education program under the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
• ARRT registration as Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT MRI certification or registry eligible with successful completion of certification within 6 months of hire
• Current Washington State DOH Radiologic Technologist Certification
• Current American Heart Association BLS

Preferred experience

• One year's experience in MRI

Pay

• Wage range currently starts at $48.32/hour and goes up to $73.23/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience.
• This position may also qualify for an additional 15% premium in lieu of benefits.
