MRI Technologist - Per Diem

About the role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in a per diem role, performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment in compliance with all regulations, ensuring high-quality images and efficient throughput.
• Maintain current knowledge of MRI techniques, protocols, and technology through ongoing research and study.
• Provide patient care by ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety, explaining procedures, and responding to patient needs.
• Troubleshoot software or equipment issues promptly and communicate with service providers.
• Prepare and assist with interventional procedures, verify patient identity, and ensure proper documentation and consent.
• Support hospital systems such as HIS/RIS for accurate data management.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year approved ARRT program and MRI certification.
• 1-2 years of current MRI experience and BLS certification.

Skills

• Technical proficiency in MRI operation and troubleshooting.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and safety protocols.
