Imaging Technologist Aide - Per Diem (As Needed)

Duties And Responsibilities

• Greeting and directing patients
• Confirming and registering patients
• Verifying all necessary information is available for the test
• Absorb and assist patients in and out of the trailer
• Push wheelchairs, gurneys and stretchers
• Assist technologist with positioning patient and assisting them on and off the scanning table
• Absorb stocking and maintaining patient dressing rooms, scan areas and control areas
• Ordering supplies
• Other responsibilities as directed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CPR/BLS Certification (via American Heart Association) required
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Medical terminology, anatomy and physiology understanding preferred
• Patient care experience strongly preferred
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
• Hard working, detail-oriented, and committed to outstanding patient care
• Team player with a positive attitude
