Imaging Tech Supervisor

About the role

Manages and coordinates all daily activities of the department. Coordinates the program as a clinical affiliate of the radiologic technology program.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: In the absence of a bachelor’s degree, five to seven years experience is required.
• Minimum Work Experience: Must have three years technical experience. Prefer prior supervisory or teaching experience.
• Required Licenses/Certifications: Must possess state license.
• Required Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately; deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals; knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred; basic computer knowledge is preferred; ability to move or lift patients and equipment; ability to work independently within general guidelines; ability to communicate in English, both orally and written; required to comply with OSHA regulations for the N95 respirator training and fit testing.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Within 12 months of starting position, will supervise daily activities of up to 30 technical and clerical personnel and students.
