Imaging Support Technician

About the role

The Imaging Support Technician acts in a support capacity for advanced imaging procedures and maintains imaging data reports. This role requires accurate, timely, and effective provision of imaging support mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Accurately acquire all required types of specimens for imaging procedures.
• Maintain and update imaging data reports.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Train in imaging safety and I.V. insertion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in health sciences preferred.
• One year of experience in clinical lab or phlebotomy preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Skilled in acquiring various types of specimens for imaging.
• Knowledge of imaging safety practices.
• Ability to perform I.V. insertion.
