Imaging Support Services Associate, Variable

Role Overview This position is vital for ensuring accurate and timely communication of imaging results, coordinating patient care, and maintaining smooth operations among radiologists, providers, and patients. Key Responsibilities Answer, locate, and direct calls regarding critical imaging results to the appropriate providers.Serve as the primary contact for urgent imaging findings among radiologists, providers, and nursing staff.Review reports and notify patients and physicians via Epic secure chat, e-fax, and messaging systems.Manage the critical results tracker to ensure prompt communication within required timeframes.Verify MRI safety for outpatients with implantable devices using proper protocols.Notify providers if device interrogation fails, aiding in alternative care planning.Coordinate with the Patient Connection Center for timely scheduling of post-interrogation appointments.Handle outside imaging requests and manage exam correlation using Powershare.Perform basic office procedures to support daily operations of the Imaging Call Center. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED required.At least 1 year of experience in a call center, operator, dispatching, or related office role. Additional Details: This is an on-site role based out of Atlantic Station, focused on effective communication, patient care coordination, and operational support.
