Imaging Assistant, PT, Variable

About the role

This is a part-time position with a variable schedule to meet the needs of the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and clerical support within the Imaging department
• Manage patient flow and conduct patient screening
• Assist patients during procedures
• Maintain supplies and support technologists as needed
• Perform remote cardiac monitoring for patients undergoing MRI when they are off nursing units

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of human anatomy or prior radiology experience
• Ability to lift and move patients safely
• Strong communication skills with patients and healthcare professionals
• Solid understanding of medical terminology
• Commitment to delivering safe care in alignment with the AlwaysSafe program
• Proficiency in AIDET communication and service recovery techniques

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• No prior work experience required
• Recent experience in cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required upon hire
