About the role
Sodexo's Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Division seeks a highly skilled Imaging Service Engineer I to join Altru Health System in Grand Fork, ND.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all medical equipment is maintained in a quality and timely manner.
- Repairing, maintaining and calibrating medical imaging devices in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Able to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and other healthcare professionals to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records within the department's tracking systems.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide emergency technical support when needed.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required.
Qualifications
- Either 1+ years of imaging experience (preferably radio frequency, X-ray portables, C-Arms, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, etc.) or a senior biomedical equipment technician with over 3 years of experience willing to receive training in the imaging space.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting required.
- Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices and the ability to complete preventative & corrective maintenance on medical devices.
- Specific experience with the following medical devices or equipment: Siemens or GE Ultrasound, X-Ray portables, C-Arms and general X-Ray experience is preferred, but not required and will train.
- Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills.
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for medical imaging devices.
- Knowledge of medical imaging equipment such as ultrasound, X-ray portables, C-Arms, and general X-Ray.
