Imaging Patient Care Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Support the care team to enhance patient experience
• Answer patient calls and manage appointments
• Verify insurance and process referrals
• Collect payments and maintain accurate patient records
• Assist with scheduling, authorization, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and quality standards
• Collaborate with team members and utilize third-party portals for referrals and authorizations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in customer service and healthcare settings
• Experience with electronic medical records and referral systems
• Preferred knowledge of insurance, managed care, and ICD-10 coding
• Strong computer skills, communication, and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
• High work standards and attention to detail

Work Environment

High-volume patient care setting with both office visits and telephone interactions. Flexibility is required.

Pay

Hourly pay ranges from $18.00 to $32.00.
