Imaging Aide

Walk-in interviews at the Washoe County Job Fair: Monday, August 24, 2026, 11:00am–2:00pm, Reno/Sparks Convention Center, 4590 S Virginia St, Reno NV 89502.

About the role

Play a key role in supporting the radiology team by ensuring a smooth and patient-centered imaging experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients within the imaging department or from the physician station if needed for another x-ray.
• Enter and/or verify patient demographics and history of exams ordered into databases and electronic medical records.
• Ensure patients are ready for imaging exams including proper attire and assist patients onto radiology equipment as needed.
• Remove a splint or cast from a patient if needed.
• Communicate with patients and family regarding wait times and frequently check on the comfort of patients.
• Use electronic medical records and imaging systems, paying close attention to exam details.
• Prepare radiology department daily including cleaning, stocking, and sanitizing work areas and equipment.
• Stock imaging rooms daily.
• Communicate and perform as a team with your technologist(s).

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• Experience using computer systems and applications, including entering data and typing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a related position within a hospital or clinic setting.

Schedule

Full Time; may include nights and weekends (Saturday); schedule is based on manager discretion.

Location

555 N Arlington Ave, Reno, NV; may require travel to other clinic locations based on manager discretion.
