About the role

Entry‑level Artist Representative / Artist Agent position at Astound Us, ideal for recent graduates or professionals with transferable skills who have a strong passion for illustration. The role provides comprehensive training in sales, artist briefing and development, project management, and creative trend awareness, and involves acting as the liaison between Astound Us artists and clients to create marketable work and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with Astound Us artists to develop and create marketable/saleable illustration work.
• Serve as the middle person between artists and clients, making connections and ensuring smooth project execution.
• Manage an existing client portfolio after training and pursue new business development.
• Apply sales training, artist briefing, project management, and creative trend awareness to drive results.

Requirements

• Fluent spoken English.
• Interest in art and illustration that extends to formal education.
• Strong passion for illustration and a desire to enter the creative industry at an entry level.
• Recent graduate or possessing transferable skills suitable for a creative sales role.

Skills

• Effective communicator – able to rebut, sell, empathize, and negotiate.
• Creative eye and good visual judgment.
• Ability to multitask independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable traveling alone, including over multiple weekends.
• Proficient with Mac computers and social media platforms.
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
• Self‑starter who makes things happen.

Pay

Starting salary $55++ with on‑target earnings (OTE) of $100 ++, depending on experience and after training.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.; Friday: 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
