IHC - Prep / Cook / Cashier

About the role

We are seeking a Prep Cook/Cashier to assist our team at a school in Lake Helen. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals with our crew for our students and staff. If you have a passion for feeding our Students during their favorite time of the day, we want to hear from you!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up the kitchen with the necessary tools and equipment
• Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
• Follow all food safety regulations
• Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
• Running a Point of Sale with orders placed on the website, credit card swipers, and cash

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is required
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification (Can be obtained after acceptance).
• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
• Able to remain calm and thrive under pressure
• Excellent time management skills
• Able to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for lunch periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
