About the role
Prepare foods for HVS students' breakfast and lunch. Provide support to the Line-Cook as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Prepare breakfast orders, salads, and other food items for customers
- Maintain a clean work environment by cleaning counters, cooking areas, removing of waste, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment, cases, etc.
- Operate the cash register to assist customers with their purchases and ensure transactions are accurate.
- Restock vending machines, refrigerators, and utensils.
- Keep inventory of products and alert supervisor to reorder.
- Provide coverage and prepare meals in the absence of the cafeteria supervisor or Line-Cook.
Qualifications & Education
- High School diploma required.
- Prior food service experience, cash register and money management skills are required.
