IHBS Therapist
Northeast Family Services is seeking Clinicians to join our growing team in Massachusetts. We value your experience delivering competent mental health services to individuals and families experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns. This is a great opportunity for newly licensed Master’s-level professionals, as we provide supervision for Independent Licensure. Independent licensed clinicians have opportunities to expand their skillsets.
About the role
The In-Home Behavioral Therapist (IHBS) will provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home to treat a youth’s behavioral needs. IHBS Therapists support caregivers by exploring patterns of behavior and improving communication. Bilingual and PRIDE opportunities are available.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured, strength-based therapeutic interventions in clients’ homes
- Treat youth’s behavioral needs through evidence-based practices
- Support caregivers in understanding and addressing their children’s needs
- Improve family communication and behavioral patterns
Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, special education, or a related human services field
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting (highly desirable)
- Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders (preferred)
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum (desirable)
- Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time)
- Access to a laptop or CPS, high-speed secure internet, and a phone (required for Fee-for-Service positions)
- Access to high-speed secure internet (required for Full-Time positions)

Pay
- Full-Time: Salary $64,000 to $72,000
- Fee-for-Service: $50 to $70 per hour
- Incentive Rate: $60/hour over productivity
Schedule
Early Friday closures at 12:30pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
