Responsibilities

• Perform line pilot duties in accordance with company guidelines.
• Support Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other company safety campaigns.
• Work with internal and external customers to provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service.
• Participate in community outreach programs and adhere to PHI Air Medical policies.
• Assist in loading and unloading patients and equipment, which may require lifting.

Requirements

• Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings
• First Class Medical
• CAMTS Requirements:
  • 2,000 Total Hours
  • 1,500 Hours Helicopter
  • 1,000 Hours PIC Helicopters
  • 500 Hours Turbine Helicopters
  • 100 Hours in Unaided Night Operations or 50 Hours Unaided and 100 Hours Night Vision Goggles (NVG)
  • 75 Hours Instrument (Actual & Hood)
• Must meet and maintain the company’s flight personnel weight restriction policy (235 lbs or less)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must pass pre-placement physical exam, drug screening, and background check

Qualifications

• Interview and acceptance by customer/PHI management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated internal and external customer service skills

Schedule

7&7 schedule; day of week the base changes schedules, and schedule change may be required. Must reside within a 1-hour or less commute of the base.
