Summary Investigational Drug Services (IDS) pharmacist specialist is involved in the drug distribution process related to investigational medications utilized in clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• The IDS clinical specialist is involved in clinical trial start up including performing feasibilities and facilitating creation/maintenance of standardized treatment order sets within Cerner Medication Integration (PowerChart/ PharmNet).
• Reviewing IDS fee schedule and reconciling
• Assists in reviewing, updating and developing policies and procedures in accordance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
