Idlewild and SoakZone: Food & Beverage Attendant

Role & Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a fun and inviting manner!
• Smile and communicate with coworkers and guests to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Assist guests by quickly and politely answering their questions.
• Prepare food following proper procedure and safety guidelines.
• Conduct POS transactions while ensuring all procedures are followed – including credit and refund transactions.
• Ensure that all PCI and park guidelines are being followed for all financial transactions.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and food supplies while maintaining a clean work area.
• Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests.
• Monitor product quality and communicate shrinkage/waste to the lead and/or supervisor.
• Auxiliary support in other areas of the park to ensure guest satisfaction, if needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 14 years of age to comply with Pennsylvania Child Labor Laws.
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift.
• Must possess safety-oriented mindset and understand the importance of complying with all state, and local food preparation and serving regulations.
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner.
• Ability to positively engage with guests to promote sales and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday.
• Occasional stooping, twisting, kneeling, bending, squatting, or reaching above shoulders.
• Withstand heat and humidity from the food preparation equipment.
• Carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more.

Working Conditions

• Based in one or more food stall and/or restaurant locations throughout the park, with exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Frequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditions.
• Constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, and heavily populated environments.
