About the role
We are hiring for an IDD Qualified Professional at RHA Health Services. This is a Regular position located in Kannapolis, NC.
Responsibilities
- Assists with Staff Hiring and Training
- Directs and trains direct care staff on new and changing programs.
- Hires, promotes, disciplines, and terminates employees according to company policy and state regulations.
- Serves as a supervisor for employees such as Home Managers, QPs, Program Managers, Vocational Coordinators, Business Managers, Nurses, Psychologists/Behavior Analysts, Dieticians, and clinical consultants.
- Manages financial aspects of the program, monitors budgetary costs and expenditures.
- Assists with various tasks for professional staff, ensuring effective communication and standardization of procedures.
- Conducts and supervises investigations into incidents involving people supported abuse, neglect, exploitation, or other risks to safety and health.
- Participates in committees and meetings related to human rights, drug reviews, and community partnerships.
- Reviews and maintains people supported incident reports, charts, funds, benefits, and billing.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a college or university with a Master’s degree in a Human Service field preferred.
- Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a Human Service field.
- One year of full-time post-bachelor’s degree accumulated mh/dd/sa experience with the populations served.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use disorders.
- Proficiency in Universal Medical Precautions.
