About the role
This position is primarily responsible for identifying, coordinating, and performing intake and continuity of care services for persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. This position will require you to interact with individuals, families, community agencies, and service providers.
Responsibilities
- Educating others about IDD services provided through the Center, services and supports provided through HHSC
- Coordinating and facilitating eligibility determinations
- Managing the IDD General Revenue and Statewide interest Lists
- Assisting in coordination of placement into Medicaid Waiver programs, Intermediate Care Facilities, and State Supported Living Center Facilities
- Support tasks for the IDD Unit, including data entry into CARE, TMHP, CSIL, and Netsmart systems
- Checking and facilitating Medicaid eligibility
- Attending monthly CRCG meetings that occur in the rural counties that the Center covers
- General filing and clerical support duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- 2-5 years of proven experience providing administrative support preferred
- Above average computer skills and ability to use common office software (Word, Excel, etc…)
- Some experience in a social service field preferred
- Current Texas Driver’s License and qualify for Center insurance coverage

Benefits are available. Will be eligible for a one- and two-year increase, depending on satisfactory performance.
Pay and Schedule
Salary Range: $13.00 To $14.15 Hourly. Hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, flexible. This is a Full-Time position.
