ICURe Regional Hub Manager - Strategic (111574-0526)
About the role
This role works closely with other Regional Hub Managers both Operations and Strategic to support the continued delivery and growth of the national Innovate UK funded ICURe programme and the broader national spinout ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Work with other Regional Hub Managers to support the delivery and growth of the national Innovate UK funded ICURe programme and the broader national spinout ecosystem.
- Manage a number of key IUK projects and leading on and closing business development opportunities with the Central belt Hub Manager Operations.
- Act as the “eyes and ears” leading on ICURe Hub intelligence and representation, ensuring knowledge of the innovation support landscape in the Hub area and experience in working with commercialising deep technologies are vital.
- Drive long-term system impact, grow pipelines, and ecosystem connectivity for the successful commercialisation of innovative technologies, products, or services and support them to create impact at scale.
- Create UKRI pathways between schemes and initiatives already in place such as Innovation Networks, Business Connect, KTPs, Catalysts, Investor Partnerships, Young Innovators, Innovation Loans, Innovate Local, Local Partnership Innovation Schemes, Spark awards and Horizon Europe.
Requirements
The role requires extensive experience in working with commercialising deep technologies and a strong network across the region. Experience with early-stage technology funders, both dilutive and non-dilutive, is also essential.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and possess a proven track record in managing and developing innovative technologies, products, or services.
Skills
Strong communication and networking skills are essential, along with the ability to drive long-term system impact and ecosystem connectivity.
