ICU Technician - Surgical Oncology – FT – Evenings

About the role

This position is an ICU Technician working in the Surgical Oncology unit at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. The role is full-time and operates on evenings.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood and perform EKGs
• Maintain vital signs and monitor blood glucose levels
• Collaborate with nurses and nursing assistants to provide compassionate care
• Provide quality phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs monitoring, and blood glucose testing

Requirements

• Minimum of two years current Nursing Attendant experience in a healthcare setting
• Successful completion of a skills inventory of a Nursing Attendant
• Recent training and/or experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician, or Medical Assistant

Qualifications

• Current New York State certification as a Nursing Assistant
• Current New York State certification as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Pay

$29.93 - $32.07 per hour
