ICU Step-Down Nurse

Role: RN ICU Step Down nurse responsible for providing high-acuity, compassionate care to patients transitioning from intensive care. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions.Titrate medications and monitor complex telemetry.Respond rapidly to changes in patient status.Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.Educate patients and families to promote understanding and engagement.Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient care. Qualifications & Skills Current RN licensure with a focus on critical care or ICU experience preferred.Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.Ability to manage high-acuity patients and respond to emergencies efficiently.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
