About the role
Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in an ICU Stepdown unit, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and positive health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust care as needed.
- Communicate patient updates clearly with physicians and the care team for seamless care delivery.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care, involving providers, therapists, and support staff.
- Guide discharge planning to ensure safe transitions from hospital to home or other care levels.
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the applicable state or multi‑state license recognition (“Compact State”).
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure.
Skills
- Obtain Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
- Obtain BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire.
- Deliver patient‑centered care.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and the care team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Guide discharge planning for safe transitions.
