About the role
Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in the ICU Stepdown unit, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and positive health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage individualized care plans, adjusting for patient progress.
- Communicate updates clearly with physicians and care teams for seamless care delivery.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care, including providers, therapists, and support staff.
- Guide discharge planning to ensure safe transitions from hospital to home or other care levels.
Qualifications
- Current RN license from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a valid multi-state license ('Compact State').
- Advanced Life Support certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure.
