About the role
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an ICU role in a 6-bed unit with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care, assessment, planning, and evaluation within nursing standards.
- Educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication.
- Participating in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and collaborating with the healthcare team.
- Developing and documenting individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Maintaining a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; Bachelor's preferred.
- Licensure: Active RN license.
- Experience: No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
- Additional support and resources available, including onsite supervision and provider support, including nights.
