About the role
Per diem hospital care position for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU or Telemetry in Halifax, VA.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality acute-care nursing by assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Maintain electronic records
- Follow safety and infection-control standards
- Educate patients and families
- Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Virginia RN license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Additional credentials may be required based on assignment
