Responsibilities
- Delivering safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital setting
- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
- Collaborating with healthcare teams and maintaining accurate electronic medical records
- Following infection-control standards, hospital policies, and patient safety guidelines
- Educating patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Demonstrating professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test and COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
