ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN Days | Las Vegas LTACH

Required:

• Prior ICU/critical care experience required.
• Commitment of 6 to 8 shifts per month.

Under the direction of:

• Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing
• Nurse Manager
• Charge Nurse

Registered Nurse (RN)

• Utilizes the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
• May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Education and Training:

• Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience:

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
