Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN Days | Las Vegas LTACH

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient care under nursing leadership, utilizing the nursing process, coordinating interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient/family teaching, and accessing community resources, with potential to act as Charge Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including serving as Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Requirements

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
