About the role
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for ICU and Telemetry roles in Halifax, VA, on a per diem basis.
Responsibilities
- Providing safe, high-quality acute-care nursing in hospital settings
- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
- Following safety protocols, infection control, and patient education
Requirements
- Active Virginia RN license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- QuantiFERON-TB Gold test completed within the past 12 months
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
