ICU Registered Nurse - Nights

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in a critical care environment, specifically within the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care according to established standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medications.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication across care transitions.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, and spiritual considerations.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in ICU required; no supervisory experience necessary.
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work safely and alertly in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

Full-time, night shift position.
