ICU Registered Nurse - Contract

About the Role

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Unit, specializing in ICU care. You will utilize clinical judgment to diagnose and treat patient responses, collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care, and participate in national clinical trials managed by our research department.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care for cardiology patients, including those undergoing procedures like PTCA, stents, TAVR, and MitraClip
• Manage patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies
• Maintain compliance with attendance policies to ensure consistent care
• Willingness to float to similar units as needed

Requirements

• Valid Michigan RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• At least 1 year ICU experience, with EKG proficiency
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application

Qualifications

Preferred experience in Neuro, CVICU, Trauma, vents, CRRT, and Balloon Pumps.
