About the role

Under the general direction of the Manager, Clinical Education, the ICU/PCU Nurse Educator is responsible for the planning, organization, and implementation of staff orientation, competencies, and education in the department. Acts as a resource for provider, patient, and family education, and supports and demonstrates the Mission, Vision, and Values of Kadlec Regional Medical Center.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's Degree or in progress (to be completed within 5 years from date of hire into the position), from an accredited educational institution.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire).
  • 2 years recent experience in area of specialty.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in an accredited educational institution.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $41.74 - $82.41 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Full time, Day Shift, 40 working hours weekly.
