ICU Kennel Technician - Weekend Daytime Shift

About the role

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on animal care, thrives in a team environment, and is eager to learn and develop new skills with the opportunity to train into a Veterinary Assistant role.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect kennels, treatment areas, exam rooms, and hospital equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized ICU environment
• Aid veterinary technicians and veterinarians with patient care and daily hospital operations
• Restrained patients safely for examinations and treatments
• Walk, feed, and monitor hospitalized patients as directed
• Stock supplies and ensure treatment areas remain fully equipped
• Launder bedding and maintain hospital cleanliness standards
• Absorb with patient transport throughout the hospital
• Support the ICU team during emergency and critical care procedures

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Passion for animal care and veterinary medicine
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to lift and restrain animals of various sizes
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Qualifications

• Previous animal care, kennel, boarding, shelter, or veterinary experience is a plus but not required
