Veterinary Technician - Daytime ICU

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour. This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

Schedule

Tentative schedule: 6am-6pm, Monday-Wednesday (some flexibility required). This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines, or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to patients
• Mentor and train other co-workers
• Nurse critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
