About the Role
Provides direct patient care in a critical care setting within the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Promotes patient and family-centered care
- Educates patients and families on illness management
- Ensures safety and quality compliance
- Develops and documents individualized care plans
- Communicates effectively across care teams
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Nursing diploma or associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior ICU experience preferred; minimum of 2 years of experience desirable
- Ability to work safely and remain alert in a safety-sensitive position
