ICS Safety Lead

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and govern ICS's Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) program, ensuring alignment with Westinghouse's corporate EHS standards and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure effective deployment and execution of safety processes and controls across ICS's engineering offices, manufacturing operations, field project sites, and vendor facilities.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for the ICS workforce, covering various activities including manufacturing, vendor, engineering, project, and office-based tasks.
- Lead investigations of safety incidents, near-misses, and workplace hazards, performing cause analyses and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Establish ICS safety performance metrics and leading indicators, analyzing trends from safety observations and reports to identify systemic issues.
- Champion a strong nuclear safety culture within ICS by cascading corporate safety messaging and promoting a "Zero Harm" mindset across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, project management, or a related discipline.
- At least seven years' experience in instrument and controls safety.
- Previous experience creating and teaching safety policies and procedures.
- Professional EHS certifications, such as BCSP accreditations (e.g., Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or related credentials), are desirable but not mandatory.
Pay
The base salary range for this position, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $108,000 to $126,000 per year.
